The tales captivate and always amaze as much, this is the lesson that the Festival of Conte and the Arts of the Friborg story can learn The old lands. The latter took place from January 15 to 25 and offered 40 events throughout the canton which brought together 2700 spectators. For the second consecutive year, the public responded, captivated by storytellers and storytellers from Switzerland and elsewhere.
Diversity and conviviality
In all, 1,500 people took part in the 23 shows presented to the new world in Friborg, embarking on a journey through time and space: from Greek antiquity to our contemporary era and Gruyère in the Ile-de-la -Madeleine in Quebec, including Senegal, India and Lebanon. Free representations, a show in the form of a round table at the University of Friborg or eight performances organized in the orientation cycles of Jolimont and Marly, the forms were varied.
The success of the festival The old lands underlines the importance of meeting to exchange stories, regardless of our age, our origins or our language. It also opened the doors to the possibilities of a third edition in 2027.
