“The stage is my oxygen, what makes me vibrate”: comedian Inès Reg confides before her show at the Zénith d’Orléans

More than 500,000 spectators were won over by his first show Out of Standards presented in Orléans in December 2022. The comedian, who wanted glitter in his life, is already back on stage with a new show We are together. Meeting with an enthusiastic and friendly artist.

After the success of your first show Exceptionaldid you feel any pressure while writing this new show?

Totally. Especially since I have always been told, after a successful first show, the second artistic project always turns out to be complicated… It’s true that with ExceptionalI played in big venues, it worked well but, in reality, I had been touring with this show for a while, performing it in front of four, ten, twelve people in small theaters. I was able to sneak up on him. In fact, this first show is as if a ten-year project had finally seen the light of day. And even though people had the impression that I became known overnight, I had been working “in secret” for years. In fact, for this second show, I didn’t have all that time. I knew I was expected. So, yes, there was panic and pressure; I was really paralyzed.

The scene is really crazy. It’s a bit like going to a gym (apparently because here I’m talking about something I don’t know) but the muscle has a memory. And it’s true, because after touring for three years, when I came back on stage, I immediately felt at home. I was so scared for that first date, and then I said to myself, no, I’m where I need to be, I know how to do it and I love it the way I do it. In addition, the public is there. It’s perfect. I am very happy, even more than with the first.

What does this second show say?
