Rim Battal: I will look in the eyes
Finally, our first novel of the week is called I will look into the eyes (Bayard). We owe it to the young essayist and poet Rim Battal, who dissects with meticulousness, passion and humor, the mechanisms of patriarchy as he manifests and perpetuates himself within Moroccan society. Starting from the example of a 17 -year -old girl who is demanded by her mother a certificate of virginity, she shows us how political is, but also how freedom and light always end up with make a way.
