Blue beard women At the Belleville theater, revisits the famous tale of Perrault, by revealing its gray areas and by questioning the dynamics of power and domination in our contemporary society. On stage, animated by desire and life, the specters of the wives of Blue beard tell their story: how they were charmed, trapped, unable to flee. Together, with humor and determination, they support themselves to discover spaces of resistance, face fear and defeat this blue beard, symbol of evil anchored in them, nourished by destructive injunctions.

The actresses, through improvisations, explore the desire and the dynamics of power, offering a contemporary and committed vision of the classic tale. The collective writing of the play was directed, then staged, by Lisa Guez. To discover on stage, Valentine Bellone, Anne Knosp, Valentine Krasnochok, Nelly Latour and Jordane Soudrego to the Belleville theater in March 2025.
