The two semi-finals are now complete. Marine and Ebony emerged victorious, and will therefore face each other in the final next Saturday, to win this season of Star Academy. This Saturday, January 18, it was Franck and Ebony who competed against each other, and shared songs with artists well known to the public.
Franck notably sang The revolver eyes with Marc Lavoine, and both apparently greatly enjoyed the moment. Indeed, Marc Lavoine was very moved at the end of the song, and, after having exchanged a little with Nikos, whom he knows well thanks to The Voice in particular, he made a beautiful declaration to Franck.

Adriana Karembeu's companion has in fact addressed his foal : “I was very happy to sing with him because we spoke before going up, he told me wonderful things, extraordinary things. He has doubts, convictions… It's really wonderful. “he's an artist, well done, you're a really good guy.” he declared.
Franck, very humble, thanked him without really knowing what to say to these wonderful compliments. Marc Lavoine didn't stop there, and, before leaving, decided to thank Thierry Cham, saying: “I just wanted to say hello to your dad, who covered one of my songs and whom I know by sight as that. Thanks to you because it’s really great, I thank you” he said to Thierry Cham, Ebony’s father.

The sequence was such that Internet users believed that Marc Lavoine was still speaking to Franck, when he was in fact speaking to Ebony. Indeed, he looked at her while saying it, but this sequence was not seen by everyone. Furious, some Internet users then commented : “I'm dreaming where Marc Lavoine spoke about Franck's dad while calling out to Ebony's father???? He said I want to say hello to your father and greeted Thierry Cham??!!”, “Is Marc Lavoine just confused Franck's father and Ebony's father?
Fortunately, other Internet users, who saw that Marc Lavoine had addressed Ebony, corrected : “No, he waved his hand at Ebony just before so he didn't confuse you at all, you weren't paying attention”, “He knows it.. he pointed at Ebony at that moment…”.
