As he has become accustomed to since he was elected president of France Galop, in December 2023, Guillaume de Saint-Seine traveled to the provinces. This Sunday he was present at the Pont-Long racecourse, to attend the 138e Pau Grand Prix and was delighted with the atmosphere: “I was present last year and I had already come before being president of France Galop, and I must say that the work carried out by the entire racing environment here, the breeders, the trainers and the president is quite outstanding. It’s obviously a great meeting, then there will be the Grand Cross in a few weeks. We are in a country of enthusiasts, the stands are full, we realize that in the regions, in our territories, with dynamic companies, we can attract a lot of public. In big cities, it’s more complicated, there are more competitive activities. Our objective is to put racing back in the hearts of the French, we are working on it and it will pass through the regions”.
