On January 24, 1975, the American pianist Keith Jarrett delivered one of his most striking improvisations to the audience of the Cologne Opera. The Sentinels at the Limoges Opera

Co-production of the Opéra national de , the Opéra de Limoges and the Opéra-Comique, Les Sentinelles is a contemporary operatic creation. The libretto and direction are by Chloé Lechat. The music is composed by the young Clara Olivarès. The musical direction is provided by conductor Lucie Legay. These three women artists offer a work that addresses unusual themes on a lyrical stage. It highlights contemporary issues, single-parent families, lesbian couples, polyamory.
