Hassan Amzile double champion of France

This Saturday, January 18 in , Hassan Amzile (7 v, 2 d, 1 n) once again became French super-lightweight champion by beating Mohamed Drici (6 v, 3 d, 2 n).

The native had replaced Mohamed Suleiman Kartoum, initially scheduled for this championship which would have constituted a revenge between the two men. Mohamed Drici took matters into his own hands at 1is round, he was aggressive and uninhibited in going on the offensive. He touched Hassan Amzile with his right, the former French champion, not having yet entered the fight, was surprised by the enthusiasm of his co-challenger.

Gilles Procope's student corrected his shot in the second round and Mohamed Drici encountered a distance problem that he was unable to resolve. Hassan Amzile used his direct front arm to stop him during his approach attempts, his mobility allowed him to put his opponent into the wind and then place sharp counter-attacks with his right. His precision and his delivery of punches prevented Mohamed Drici from organizing himself, he dominated the exchanges at a distance and even up close with his right uppercut.

Hassan Amzile had indicated to his corner that he had pain in his knuckles, he played without taking any risks during the following rounds, he gave a lot of blows without seeking efficiency. The Héraultais did not give up but he did not manage to frame his rival who touched him with both hands from all angles. Mohamed Drici was the victim of a nasal hemorrhage following the numerous jabs received, a bleeding well managed by his trainer. Hassan Amzile did not weaken and remained diligent and focused on his successful tactics. Mohamed Drici's voluntary style made him shine, he admired his technique and his speed of execution. Two essential assets which enabled him to win almost all rounds except the first. Mohamed Drici remained valiant, he gave everything he could but he was unable to stop the fine mechanics of Hassan Amzile who received the French champion belt from the hands of Tony Yoka.
