The city of Bordeaux honors the memory of Matthieu Chazal, talented photographer and figure of contemporary art, through an exhibition. Organized by Cdanslaboite, this retrospective highlights the work of the artist who died on September 21, 2024.
The exhibition, which is held at Maison Bourbon (79 rue Bourbon, Bordeaux), offers a selection of images taken from Levant, a photographic work published by Odyssée editions. This book brings together a decade of the artist’s travels, offering a unique look at the history and daily lives of the peoples of the Orient.
The opening took place this Saturday, January 18. Visitors will also be able to support Matthieu Chazal’s association through the sale of the book throughout the duration of the exhibition.
