The 2025 official selection, revealed this morning, offers 10 feature films and 10 short films. Among them, 18 films are in competition and illustrate the diversity and creativity of contemporary French-speaking cinema. A feature-length heritage film and a wordless animated short film complete this rich and daring panorama. All films are available in the original French version with subtitles in eight languages, including English, Arabic and Mandarin.

Prestigious juries: you

Unique in its kind, this festival, organized by Unifrance, gives a voice to the public. Spectators are invited to vote online for their favorite films in order to award the Audience Awards to a feature film and a short film. At the same time, the 2025 international jury, made up of renowned personalities such as Zar Amir, Noémie Merlant and Viggo Mortensen, as well as international press critics, rewards the best works. New this year: a jury dedicated to cinema influencers crowns a short film.

The short films are available for free anywhere in the world. For feature films, the price is €1.99 per unit or €7.99 for a complete pack. Please note, however: certain films are geoblocked in certain territories due to ongoing negotiations.

MyFrenchFilmFestival continues its mission to promote French-speaking cinema across the globe. “We are giving the opportunity to a certain audience, an audience that is not necessarily used to it, to have access to French cinema. This may surprise them and make them want this cinema and this language.”tells us Daniela Elstner, executive director of Unifrance. For her, it is really very important to go where “we couldn’t go any other way”. With expanded accessibility – in more than 200 territories – and new films in many countries, this 15th edition promises to be an immersive and universal experience.
