Even Instagram’s sophisticated algorithms get lost and freak out when it comes to her. She is certainly unpredictable, eclectic, surely versatile and perhaps a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, although she doesn’t like the word. And yet, what opera singer can claim to have started her career in metal? Her father was a conductor, her mother a violinist and little Marina, while playing the flute, amused herself by parodying female singers.

That same day, the whole world applauded her in her interpretation of Bizet’s famous Habanera, as an insolent and splendid Carmen in her “love is a rebellious bird”, which suits him so well.
