The 28-year-old young woman, who appeared in the France 2 program for two and a half years, achieved a record for longevity.
The figure is impressive: Léana, candidate of the game Each in turn on France 2, left the program on Thursday January 9 after 784 participations. The 28-year-old won a prize pool of 19,700 euros, but also the record for the number of participations in this program.
Because his 784 appearances allow him to surpass the score of Magali who, in March 2024, had left Each in turn with 697 emissions on the clock.
“It was very long,” reacts Léana in the columns of Vosges Matin. “784 shows, over two and a half years, 65 days of filming, 92 days in Paris,” she sums up.
Record participations, but no victories
The record for the number of individual victories in a French game show is held by Émilien, 22 years old, who to date has 473 victories in the 12 shots of noon on TF1. However, in Each in turnit is not victories that allow you to multiply participations; on the contrary, it is the one who wins the prize pool at the end of each of the broadcasts who leaves the game.
So, although Léana’s number of participations does not correspond to a record for victories, it is indeed a record for participations in a TV game. And probably, Léana’s record is even world-wide: this is in any case how the 697 participations of her predecessor Magali were presented by Bruno Guillon.
