The winner of Festival D’KLAM 2025 will represent the Morocco to the Poetry Slam World Cup “World Poetry Slam Organization” and the African Poetry Slam Cup (CASP).
This double event is a unique opportunity to promote the cultural and linguistic wealth of Morocco throughout the world and create artistic bridges with others. slammers (es) of the world, explain the organizers in a press release.
To participate in the national championship, candidates must meet the following conditions: be of Moroccan nationality, be 18 years old or over, send an a cappella video not exceeding 3 minutes, where the participant declaims his or her text. Applications must be sent from February 1 to 17, 2025.
In parallel with the activities with theFrench Institute of Casablancal’Association SLAM’AROC will continue to organize hybrid events in various cities across Morocco. These activities will include virtual workshops, Open Mic et poetic encounters.
Partner locations include the Oum Keltoum Foundationthe Anfa Cultural Complexand the Hay Salam Youth Center in Salél’ISADACl’Active Current Association and others French institutes in Morocco.
