King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to members of the family of the illustrious musician, the late Mohamed Ben Abdeslam.
In this message, the King indicates that he learned with deep sorrow the news of the death of the late Mohamed Ben Abdeslam, may God surround him with His infinite mercy.
In this painful circumstance, the Sovereign expresses to the members of the family of the deceased and, through them, to his national artistic family, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion following the disappearance of one of the pioneers of Moroccan song , known for his authenticity and creativity in musical composition.
The King also affirms that he remembers with consideration the high moral qualities and sincere patriotism of the deceased as well as his passionate creative spirit as evidenced by his compositions and works which have, for decades, enriched the artistic library of the Kingdom and which will be engraved at never in the memory of large generations of fans of authentic Moroccan music.
The Sovereign says he shares the feelings of the family of the deceased following this loss, the divine will being unstoppable, imploring the Almighty to grant patience and comfort to the family of the deceased, to remunerate him amply for the laudable services he has rendered the service of his art and his Country and to accept it among the virtuous faithful.
