It’s not an official comeback, but it’s hard not to see in The Pitt the desire to reconnect with the medical series under adrenaline such asEMERGENCIES established the canon in the late 1990s. The co-creator of The PittJohn Wells, also cut his teeth there as a screenwriter, producer, then director of a certain number of episodes. We also find Noah Wyle, another defector from Cook County Hospital, whose career, unlike that of George Clooney or Julianna Margulies, never quite recovered from having played Doctor John Carter during fifteen seasons.

-Located no longer in Chicago (Illinois) but in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), The Pitt takes the proposition of its tutelary show in reverse, and takes place in a short time – fifteen hours in an emergency department, fifteen episodes, at the 24 hours flat. Around the head of department, Doctor “Robby” (Noah Wyle himself), revolves a very representative panel of young doctors in training, more or less experienced but all very keen to demonstrate their value.
