True jacks-of-all-trades, Mickael and Estelle, originally from Orléans (), created the group Avoriaz in 2003. A life project which poses no limits in terms of artistic expression: virtual reality, music of all genres, colorful artistic direction, literature, immersive staging…

The objective for the duo will be to bring together 192 compositions inspired by the worlds they create in their books. “The more we advance as an artist, the more we realize that we are evolving little by little,” explains Mickael, on technique, keyboard and instruments.

If Avoriaz mainly offers music, literature is perhaps the starting point of their idea. Indeed, each composition must correspond to a very specific universe of each of their books.

For example, the latest book: “Frustra”, available on their website, offers a futuristic and fictional science universe. You will therefore guess that the music which will accompany it will be more electronic than anything else.

But to better illustrate the usefulness of their approach, the Avoriaz group invites us to see their initiative literally as a ski slope:

  • Vert for world music, ska, slam or celtic,
  • Bleu for jazz, electro and blues,
  • Rouge for pop rock, funk
  • Noir for rock and hard rock.

Music as personal development

Four colors which lead, according to the group, to the ascension of a life, towards the peak of spiritual elevation. “We really want to integrate a part of personal development into our art and across all musical styles and cultural heritages from around the world. »

We like to take the image of the hiker. We are in each of us, to climb this climb that is life.

In artistic expression, the group does not stop there and will move to the Beaugency hall with a virtual reality headset. “Everyone will be able to completely immerse themselves in the universes that we create,” explains the musician.

█Practical: Present at the Beaugency hall, the duo will explain in detail the concept of Avoriaz, from Saturday January 11, 2025 to Sunday January 12, 2025. More information on their website.
