And in the numbers game, there is one American media that is doing very well: it is Billboard, this magazine which makes the music sales rankings in the USA. They have just published their ranking of 100 best artists of the 21st centuryand among them, it is Nickelback is the highest-charting rock band, making them the “greatest rock band of the 21st century.”.
However, the Canadians are only in 26th placewhich is proof, at least for the American media, that rock continues to lose ground over the last 24 years.
