Meghan Markle overcome by grief: she mourns the death of a loved one with whom she “fell in love”

It's Meghan Markle's big comeback. To celebrate the transition to the new year, the Duchess of Sussex made her return to Instagram, after three years of absence. And since then, she has not hesitated to add funds to her account. First, she revealed a video in which she is seen running with her feet in the sand.

Then, it was to announce his new Netflix series, called
With Love, Meghan that she decided to speak up. We can see her in her kitchen, receiving guests and preparing food. “I was so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. I wish you all a fantastic year! Thank you to our incredible team and the Netflix team. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!”she wrote.

Meghan Markle, in tears, announces having lost a loved one to her heart

But this Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Meghan Markle revealed a moving video in which we can see her little dog Guy, a beagle, who unfortunately died.

She adopted this dog in 2015 from a shelter.
He had been in an animal shelter
in Kentucky and was given a few days to live. I picked it up…and fell in love. They called him 'the little guy' because he was so small and fragile, so I called him 'Guy'. And he was the best guy a girl could have asked for.” wrote the wife of Prince Harry, in mourning.

Immense sadness for the Duchess of Sussex

For her, this dog was a full member of her family. I've cried too many tears to count — the kind of tears that make you take a shower with the absurd hope that the water running down your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they're not there. But they are there. And that's good too”she specifies.

Pour Meghan Markle, this disappearance is very difficult to digest. This little ball of fur lived alongside her boss for many years and was able to survive thanks to the Duchess's love and good treatment.
