The Unmasked return to the stage

Les Démasqués, the adult theater troupe of the Cercle municipal post-school Jean-Macé, announce their big return with comedy Rififi at the Countess written by Jean-Claude Martineau.

This play promises to entertain young and old with a crazy plot. The story follows a whimsical countess who organizes a historical reconstruction of the life of her ancestor, on the village square of Péton-sur-Grolle. Things get complicated when the villagers turn into improvised actors. Between clumsiness and incredible situations, nothing goes as planned.

Under the direction of Tifaine, who directs, the actors rehearse two evenings a week and one Sunday a month. They perfect their acting through meticulous work on voice, gestures, placement on stage and interactions between characters. The atmosphere of the rehearsals is friendly, motivated by a common desire: to offer the public a moment of relaxation and laughter.

I’m going there. Performances at the Jean-Zay village hall, 2, rue du Château-d’eau, Fridays January 31 and February 7, and Saturdays 1 is and February 8, at 8:30 p.m.; Sundays February 2 and 9 at 2:30 p.m. Reservations from this Monday January 6 via HelloAsso.
