“Adnass”: a contemporary theatrical work between surrealism and mystery

The troop New Horizon of Culturestrue to its reputation for innovation and creativity, presents its latest theatrical work, “Adnass», a daring creation which ventures into the mysteries of witchcraft.

This captivating play, in co-production with the Mohammed V Theater and in partnership with the Al Mansour Theaterpromises to offer an immersive experience, both poetic and disturbing, exploring the darkest corners of the human soul.

The public will be able to discover this first performance on Saturday January 4, 2025, at 8 p.m., at the Mohammed V Theater. A theatrical event not to be missed, where the art of the stage meets the mysteries of esotericism, to question universal questions and timeless.

“Adnass” is not content to be a simple theatrical performance. It is intended to be a sensory and intellectual journey, where each element of the production is carefully designed to envelop the viewer in a dreamlike universe. The play is distinguished by its staging, provided by the talented Ahmed Amine Sahelwho also signs the text. In the company of a troupe of brilliant actors, including Price in Belouala, Farida Bouazzaoui, Bouchra Cherif et Amine Talidi“Adnass” explores, with finesse, human desires and torments through the prism of witchcraft.

The musical composition of Mouhssine Lahlouin perfect harmony with the scenography of Safae Kritamplifies the captivating atmosphere of the room. The costumes contribute both to the identity of each character and to the mystical dimension of the work.

At the heart of “Adnass”, witchcraft is approached not only as an esoteric practice, but as a mirror of human desires and contradictions. Why do humans seek to connect to invisible and often destructive forces? The piece questions the deep motivations of those who abandon themselves to esotericism, whether to fill an inner void, attempt to transform themselves, or respond to darker and more malevolent impulses.
