To end this year full of events, Pena Massylvaine decided to offer a magical show this Saturday, December 28. At exactly 7 p.m., the many residents who had decided to participate in this last event of the year gathered on the Place du Foirail to release these magic lanterns together.

When they flew into the clear sky of this beautiful winter evening, the spectators, who were also participants in the event, were struck by the beauty of these lights flying into the sky. Some thought of the wish they had made before letting the lantern that they had purchased a short time before from the members of the festival committee go to its destiny. This wish could be personal, family, local or universal.

Regardless, it was a beautiful moment of communion where the vision of these lights during one of the longest nights of the year announced the upcoming lengthening of the days. In addition to this show, everyone was able to enjoy the chocolates and mulled wines offered to spectators and eat at the food truck set up for the occasion on the square.

Aware of the ecological necessity of collecting fallen lanterns, members of Pena Massylvaine mobilized to buy back the lanterns brought back by the children on Sunday morning.
