In 2025, Music'Air Productions is back and offering two musical events: “We don't wait for Patrick” in Rostrenen and the Kreiz Y Fest festival in Glomel.
This will be the 3rd edition on Saturday March 8 of “We don’t wait for Patrick”. After Les Ramoneurs de menhirs, La P'tite Fumée and Manau, the headliner of this new event is Pierpoljak, a figure on the reggae scene in France. His music video “I don’t know how to play” has 24 million views on YouTube. That says it all. “We will also find La Poison on stage, a really great electro punk group with the former guitarist of Mano Negra,” says Gaël Duro. Other guests: Natrix, an alternative rock group with protest sounds and David Pasquet trio and its breizh electro. “The idea of this evening is to mix styles,” adds Gaël Duro. Promo pass for €20 (see the Music'Air Productions website).

A three-day festival
This year, the Kreiz Y Fest, an event co-organized by Music'Air Productions and the Légend'air association, is scheduled for three days instead of two. Thus, from May 29 to 31, fans of extreme music and the curious will be able to enjoy it with 28 groups on the bill. “This year, we are opening up internationally with the programming of English, American and German groups. This means that we are starting to be known and we are entering the calendar of European metal festivals,” comments Gaël Duro, who expects around 4,500 festival-goers over three days.

Almost 50% female groups
Music'Air Productions and Légend'air have announced the first 16 names for the 2025 edition with two headliners: the British female duo Nova Twins and the group No One Is Innocent celebrating 30 years of protest rock metal… Other group present in Glomel to follow closely: Komodrag And The Mounodor which was at all the festivals last summer (Francofolies, Vieilles Charrues…) or even Eihwar and his pagan dancefloor. “The new thing this year is that we should get close to 50% of female artists, which is quite rare,” underlines the programmer.

An exceptional site
Kreiz Y Fest has captured the hearts of metalheads for several reasons. The main one: it highlights the diversity of the metal genre (deathcore, black metal, crossover, trap metal, heavy metal, etc.) without forbidding some forays into the rock planet. Another asset highlighted by the organizers: the site described as exceptional. “It is a wooded area near the Korong pond, a well-equipped campsite. The site is very popular. We keep the same configuration and we will improve a scene by enlarging it,” concludes Gaël Duro.
