While the ticket office has only just opened, we have an update with the organizer of the Uzès festival, the actor and humorist Patrick Timsit.
The ticket office has barely opened when the good news is already arriving from the Uzès Seuls en scène festival: “There was a lot of enthusiasm, from the first day, notes the event's investigator, Patrick Timsit. The actor and comedian emphasizing that “tickets have already been sold for all the shows, this is a very positive sign!” Unsurprisingly, some headliners stand out, with Michel Jonasz, Manu Payet, “but also Constance who is doing well. We also have good results with Nora Hamzawi and an interest in Coline Serreau's show”, continues Patrick Timsit, who also suggests that the date of Chatouilles, mixing dance and theater on the tragic subject of the rape of a child, is already a hit.
A second masterclass planned?
“We hope that this will continue like this with the Christmas presents that remain to be given”, projects the actor, currently on stage until January 5 in Paris with the play La Famille, alongside Michel Jonasz and François-Xavier Demaison. “Then, we will work with our partners on the “village” which will be created in the courtyard of L’Ombrière and for which there are now a lot of expectations. We weren’t sure if we would maintain it and ultimately, we will develop it!”
Other news that will delight seasoned film buffs, announced in preview for Midi Libre, is Patrice Leconte who will provide the masterclass of this third edition of Seuls en scène. Ridiculethe trilogy of Tannedor even Maigretwe no longer present the man nominated for the Oscars and notably awarded a César for best film and best director for Ridicule. And this might not be the last surprise concocted by Patrick Timsit: “We are awaiting confirmation of an actress for a second masterclass…” To be continued!
