The show financed by the municipality was magnificent on Sunday, December 15, at 6 p.m., at the Saint-Hilaire church. Christopher Muel, this pure Chevillonnais artist, gave with his team a majestic concert entitled “At the heart of the melodies”.
He was accompanied by a choir of 21 children from CE2, CM1 and CM2 classes in the town, supervised by teachers Evelyne and Karine.
It was in a packed church that the children sang around ten songs out of the twenty offered, each time receiving thunderous applause.
The very varied repertoire with even a moving duet, Christopher singing “Little boy” with his son Nathéo, went from Johnny to Guichard, Peletier, Cabrel via Bachelet, Slimane and many others, ended after an encore by the the unmissable “Little Santa Claus”.
Finally, the children went back up the aisles, given a standing ovation by a standing audience won over by this fantastic performance which, let us remember, was put together by Christopher who volunteered his time every Tuesday since the start of the school year in September at one hour of rehearsal per week.
The children were in no way impressed by the presence of the hundreds of people who came to attend this concert which was free to attend. The donations collected at the outing will be used to finance part of their one-week school trip in May to Val-André in the Côtes d’Armor.
