The Vallée des arts association aims to bring together professionals from the Conques-Marcillac region in the field of art and crafts.
These artists have joined forces in the form of a collegiate group and are part of the organization of the Saint-Cyprien-sur-Dourdou Arts Market which took place last weekend with the know-how of Magali Vermeersch (O’Ptits papiers ) which presented his latest creations: straw marquetry, upholstery, art paintings, paper work, carved wood and ceramics which delighted the entire audience.
Saturday evening, during the opening of the exhibition, the participants present were also able to visit the premises of the new town halls of Conques-en-Rouergue and Saint-Cyprien-sur-Dourdou. The art artisans thank the mayor and municipal councilors who were asked to help the association organize this Arts Market which was very appreciated.
Upcoming events
The association will develop the implementation of events and promotion of art and crafts in the Conques-Marcillac region, namely: the European Crafts Days which will take place at the beginning of April; art craft nights in Conques-en-Rouergue and meetings of craftsmen during the summer season while working with the tourist office and the community of municipalities which support these projects and participate in their development .
