For some time now, he has added a segment to his podcast where he responds to comments from Internet users. This is how he returned this week to the allegations of sexual misconduct concerning him which came to light two years ago.
From the outset, the comedian indicates that he will not be able to dissect the article published two years ago, in which we found the said allegations, but he indicates:
« I won’t be able to dissect the article that came out two years ago, but one thing is certain here, the right word was chosen, allegations. I don’t need to tell you that what was written two years ago in this article was very difficult for my family, those around me and me. The beauty is that, on the other hand, it’s these people who really know me, my family, my entourage, who have been there from the beginning, so it’s them who have really been there In my opinion. I obviously have my version of the facts, but I don’t think that one day I will be able to tell that. »
He continues: “ I am criticized for things I did 15, 20 years ago. Do I agree with everything that was written in this article? No. Am I white as snow? No. Was I able to do things that no longer work today? Absolutely. »
However, he apologizes to the people he may have hurt: “ If there are things I said or did 15, 20 years ago that disappointed or hurt people, I want to apologize. At this point, I mean, do I have a flawless track record? Am I perfect? No. Who is one anyway? I don’t know. »
He concludes by stating: “ From now on, I try to look forward. I try to be a good father, a good boyfriend, a good son and a good friend. »
