The Corn’Rock Festival is trying to achieve parity. The organizers of the Cornaux demonstration unveiled the poster for their 13th on Monday morninge edition. The one which presents itself as “the last 100% rock festival in French-speaking Switzerland” takes place on May 23 and 24, 2025 on the village sports field. It offers two evenings with different tones. Friday’s is called “Girl Power Night.” It is entirely dedicated to female artists. On the bill: the Dutch from Cobra Spell, the Americans from The Darts, Pythies, French artists, and as for Swiss artists, the Lausanne artists from The Black Shoe’s Button complete the selection. Saturday evening is eclectic, with “a mix of classic and modern rock,” according to the organizers’ press release. Fans will applaud the Germans from Freedom Call, two French groups, Overdrivers and Shady Fat Kats, and the Vaudois from Another Ox. Tickets can be purchased on the festival website, priced at 35 francs for both evenings. Entrance is free for children under 16 accompanied by an adult. /comm-jhi
