Musica Técou began its second season on Sunday, November 17. It continues while respecting the bases which facilitated its launch: a diverse and high-level musical program, to which is added the welcome and a moment of meeting. “Those who want to stay can have a drink. We are attached to these moments of sharing, including with the artists,” specifies Jacques Frézal. The season also innovates, with three classical concerts on Sunday morning, at 5 p.m., an foray into baroque, another into song-poetry, and one into gospel. “The notion of a good time is important in the municipality’s cultural project. Even if the colors are different, we do not separate the genres: dance, theater soon, circus,” adds mayor Jean-François Baulès. This Wednesday, December 18 at 8 p.m., pianist Alexandre Paley will illustrate “romantic virtuosity” with pieces by Liszt Rhapsodies Hungariane 2 and 6), Balakirev (Islamey), Chopin Andante and Grande Polonaise) and Horowitz (Carmen Fantaisy). Born in Moldova, Alexandre Paley gave his first concert at the age of 11 before winning the Young Artists Grand Prix in New York where he settled.
Since then, his international career has led him to play with the greatest orchestras in the world (New York, Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, Boston).
