Libraries and media libraries celebrate Christmas

The network of libraries and media libraries of Lourdes Pyrénées is celebrating the holidays by offering workshops and “Christmas here and there” events. From December 10 to 24, go to the Albert Camus library in Séméac to find Father Albert’s surprise bags, bags which hide documents to borrow and find within the establishment.

On December 18 at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., the Louis Aragon media library in Tarbes offers a “creative Christmas workshop” (from 6 years old) to create festive decorations from recycled materials. On December 27 at 2:30 p.m., it hosts a “Kirigami workshop” (from 7 years old) where children can engrave their wishes on paper like in Japan. As for the Nelson Mandela library (Laubadère district), it awaits its public on December 18 at 2:30 p.m. for a “special Christmas Brico-conte workshop”, a workshop made up of pretty tales and surprises for the little elves who listen.

Places are limited, registration required. Creative Christmas workshop and kirigami workshop: 0562443896. Special Christmas DIY storytelling workshop: 0562379920.
