Maïka Desnoyers unveiled her entrepreneurial project in 2021, Fauve Collection, a boutique that offers various products for women, all designated in Quebec.
Yesterday, by announcing to offer a discount on purchases placed in her store, the co-host of Sell or Renovate opened up about her company’s financial struggles:
“I’m going to take this opportunity to make a confession: the first year of Fauve Collection went really well, the second year we rushed and we’re still rushing, due to the fact that we wanted to go to the Promenades Saint-Bruno, I scammed at the website level (…), there were really a lot of unforeseen expenses. I’m trying to keep my head above water these days with this company because I really want it to continue, I love the products I make, everyone who buys loves it too. I hope 2025 will be better for the rest of us, I’m not complaining, I’m not dying, but it’s been a really difficult year in that regard. I’m just starting out in business, so I really lost a lot of money. Don’t hesitate to go buy, we’ll help each other!”
