The French voices of Morgan Freeman, Ryan Gosling and Matt Damon play, for a film created in November 2024, the story invented by the author Véronique Barbotin and the illustrator Michel Breton: Santa Claus in .

Do you know Texou? The little bear from Rambouillet () met the Santa Claus in Lapland last year. And he would like to introduce it to his friends from Rambouillet who were unable to make the trip. This pretty cChristmas party was written by Véronique Barbotin and illustrated by Michel Breton in 2018. The book now exists on video thanks to the Rambolitan director, Benjamin Pallier.

“The book is accessible to 4-8 year olds. But sometimes they are too tired or don’t know how to read yet. I thought a video version would be a good idea. The film allows you to watch the story while leafing through the pages. »

Benjamin Pallier immediately accepted this proposal. The director is already working with young audiences. In particular, he runs courses for students at Sainte-Thérèse.

The Rambolitan put his talent and his address book in the service of making a film for children, all on a voluntary basis. This short film, lasting around fifteen minutes, depicts the book.

We find “very well-known actors recreating the world of the book in the film,” says Benjamin Pallier. The French voice of Morgan FreemanBenoit Allemane, that of Matt DamonDamien Boisseau, and even Miss 2012 are part of the cast. Delphine Wespiser is the narrator of the film.

“Alexandre Gillet plays Texou the little bear. He does a lot of dubbing and does the French voice of Ryan Gosling, Elijah Wood and Chris Evans. He has an impressive CV. For Santa, I wanted a charismatic voice. Benoit Allemane took part in the game. When you hear Santa Claus on the radio, it’s him. He dubs Morgan Freeman’s voice. »

The director continues: “Damien Boisseau, actor of filming de Rambouillet who voices Matt Damon, lent his voice to three characters: Benjamin, Frimousse and the rooster. »

The Pigeon, the Reindeer, Golden Wool and Silver Loop are performed by Stéphanie Le Touzicdubbing actress. For his part, Benjamin Pallier takes on the voice of Cheval Éclair.

“The idea was to have a voice for all animals,” assures Véronique Barbotin. A QR code will be created and pasted into the book to access the video hosted on YouTube. “We are going to give the link to hospitals so that the facilitators can use it,” specifies the author.

Véronique Barbotin, author, and Michel Breton, illustrator are at their fifth book. “We donate our author and illustrator rights to the Louis Carlesimo association,” says Véronique Barbotin. The association takes sick children to Lapland and makes their dreams come true.

“Thirty books are offered to children at the Bullion pediatric hospital and pediatric department from the Rambouillet hospital by the Rambouillet Lions club. The goal is to entertain sick children. It’s also a nod to Rambouillet, the young patients are not necessarily from the town,” explains Véronique Barbotin.
