The major French-speaking world premiere of the musical Tootsie took place on December 9 at the Théâtre St-Denis in Montreal. The show, which has enjoyed great success on Broadway, in Chicago and with our European neighbors since 2018, is the adaptation of the film Tootsie, released in 1982 and which starred Dustin Hoffman. Several of our Quebec stars were there.

Marie-Christine Lavoie was accompanied by her mother during this premiere. “I have been single for over a year, and I am not unhappy alone, quite the contrary. I don’t have much time for love right now. I work on different projects; I’m currently writing for TV shows and new conferences, and I’m also moving forward with my book, in addition to looking after my online store. I’m creative and having fun. My next television show will be different from what I have already done,” the host and designer told us.
