1 A bubble of history with Jean Harambat
The designer from Mont-de-Marsan was strong from his first album. With “The Invisibles” (Futuropolis, 2008 and reissued in 2021), which tells of a revolt in Chalosse in the 17the century, he won the prize for best historical comic strip at the Rendez-vous de l’histoire in Blois. In his latest work “The Missing Piece”, published in 2023, this history enthusiast takes us to 18th century England.e century in search of a lost Shakespeare play.

2 With Marin Ledun, committed dark novels
The novelist who lives in the south of the Landes begins to become accustomed to successes, whether commercial or critical. For more than fifteen years, this former employee of France Telecom has built a solid reputation thanks to his dark novels in which he expresses his anger against the world around him. This is evidenced by his work “Their soul to the devil”, released in 2021, in which he attacks the practices of tobacco lobbies. In “Free Queens”, published in 2023 by Gallimard, the author depicts the setbacks of a European industrialist, a beer seller in Nigeria, who does not hesitate to use prostitution networks to sell his production.

3 A colorful Christmas with Julien Granel…
The 29-year-old with two-tone hair has built a solid reputation in the French pop landscape, notably thanks to his electrifying live performances. Originally from Rion-des-Landes, this singer trained in the South Pole of Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse. In 2022, he released his first album “Cooleur”, a true concentrate of good humor and sonic creativity. And if you want to see him in concert, the Landais will perform at the Olympia (just that) on May 17, 2025, tickets are on sale.

4…Or a little darker with Gojira
The flagship group of Landes death metal ignited the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games on July 26 with their cover of the revolutionary song “Ah! It’ll be fine.” The group founded in Ondres is currently working on its eighth studio album. In the meantime, you can always fall back on their latest opuses: the protean “Fortitude”, released in 2021, which mixes raw power and atmospheric melodies or “Magma”, released in 2016, which allowed the group to establish its reputation internationally earning him a Grammy nomination in the best rock album of the year category. A gift that will delight any rock lover.

5 The Inspector Cluzo, between the farm and Nashville
On July 13, 2022, the rock group gave a unique concert in the Plumaçon arenas in Mont-de-Marsan, the town where they are from. Since its formation in 2008, the duo has claimed a self-taught and agricultural lifestyle which is reflected in its ecological commitments but also in its musical production, independent of the traditional industry. In eight studio albums, the Mons group has made its unique style known beyond the borders of France. In their latest project, “Horizon”, recorded in Nashville and released in 2023, the farm rockers take their recipe and deliver 12 pieces between rock and blues that will delight any music lover, whether from Landes or not.
