It was at the Beaumont village hall that the Socio-Cultural Association presented the play “Venice under the snow”, performed by the Cie du Bathyscaphe de Muret. Around forty people responded to the invitation to discover this funny and lively comedy, which triggered many bursts of laughter and provided a real moment of well-being.
The plot involves Christophe, who meets a former college friend, Jean-Luc, that same morning. The latter, delighted to find a friend from yesteryear, spontaneously invites him to dinner. But when Christophe arrives accompanied by his companion Patricia, the latter, visibly upset, adopts total silence. This silence sows confusion: Jean-Luc and his fiancée Nathalie, a bit naive, come to think that Patricia is a foreigner. Amused by this misunderstanding, Patricia decides to fuel the misunderstanding by inventing a fictional country and an imaginary language, creating a series of hilarious situations.
