Young and old dancers from LA Danse Studios presented a Christmas ballet in the streets of Nîmes.
“We were invited by the merchants of downtown Nîmes for the Christmas holidays. On this occasion, we prepared small classical and contemporary dance ballets,” rejoices Valérie Rossa, director of the LA Danse Studios dance school. Around twenty young dancers gave three performances, at 4 p.m. on rue Régale, at 4:30 p.m. on rue des Lombards and at 5 p.m. on rue du Cadeau in Nîmes.
LA Danse Studios is based in the city center of Nîmes, 1 Plan d’Orléans. Classical dance classes, contemporary dance, jazz and pilates classes for adults are given by six teachers. “We also have a dance-study sector for students who wish to improve their skills with flexible schedules”, explains Valérie Rossa.

Mélissa Delmas is president of the Régal and Co association. She is the initiator of these artistic festivities on rue Régal in Nîmes. “Our goal is to organize Christmas events to add a little magic to the city center. We want to bring people in”supports Mélissa. Next Saturday, December 21, a marquee will be set up at 5 rue Régal. A little elf will come and read Christmas accounts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
