Last Saturday evening, the public met at Saint-Lizier Cathedral to attend a concert organized by the Bel Horizon association for the benefit of breast cancer research.

That evening, more than 120 people came to discover the mainly female polyphonic vocal group “Divines”, in the presence of the mayor and departmental councilor Michel Pichan, his deputies and his colleague Nathalie Auriac, departmental councilor.

If some people discovered this group for the first time, others did not miss this meeting. We had already seen them as part of Autreviens le Couserans a few years ago. Composed of Sophie (soprano and double bassist), Camille (alto), Vyvy (contralto), Marie-Pierre (mezzo), and Éric (arranger, pianist and musical director of the group), Divines returned with pleasure and charmed a large audience .

With its rich and varied repertoire, ranging from French song to music hall, from jazz to gospel, including classical and pop, the group offered a memorable concert. The beauty of the voices of Sophie, Camille, Vyvy and Marie-Pierre, the music and the arrangements of Eric captivated the audience. The audience savored this moment of joy and sharing, between humor and talent.

Divines quickly won the hearts of the audience. The audience participated actively, singing choruses and clapping their hands.
