Until Saturday January 4, 2025the Ruban Bleu, the shopping center in the city center of Saint-Nazaire (-Atlantique) is hosting an exhibition out of the ordinary : a presentation of Lego® and miniatures orchestrated by Roger Tortelier, an enthusiast from Savenay. An event that will delight young and old thanks to a carefully constructed universe, rich in details and colors.

Long-term work

Roger Tortelier shares his love of models with enthusiasm.

Since the age of eight, I have been passionate about model trains and I have been building Lego models for 30 years now. About 80% of what you see here was made by me.

Its exhibition offers a true visual journey through miniature towns and villages, railway circuits, various vehicles and many other creations.

Among these works on display are Lego® trains, sophisticated technical creations, animals, construction equipment, trucks, helicopters, planes, cranes and even houses.

Each piece bears witness to expertise and patience de Roger.

It’s long-term work, but it’s also a passion that allows me to share unique moments with visitors.

For all ages

His wife, Martine Tortelier, manages the logistics and administrative aspects of this adventure. “It’s a team effort, but seeing the stars in the visitors’ eyes is worth it,” she says.

Passers-by at the Blue Ribbon, attracted by the lights and colors of this “Ali Baba’s cave”, often enter out of curiosity and come out amazed.

In addition to admiring the models, visitors can buy boxes of Lego® and benefit from personalized advice from Roger.

It is an ideal activity for children, as it develops their dexterity and creativity. But it is also a leisure activity for all ages.

As Christmas approaches, this exhibition is a perfect stop for families looking for inspiration and wonder. ” How do you like it ? “, Roger frequently asks visitors.

And, judging by the admiring looks and enthusiastic comments, the answer is unanimous… A big yes!
