After awarding this prestigious title to American megastar Taylor Swift last year, the New York magazine could make a 180-degree turn with the nomination of the president-elect in 2024.
Politico, which covers White House political news, received the information from three sources familiar with the plans. The media, however, granted anonymity to these three people since they were not authorized to disclose this information.
However, this would not be the first time that Mr. Trump finds himself on the cover of the Time.
The real estate mogul was also in 2016 when he was awarded this distinction by the Time after his first victory in the presidential election.
Moreover, in 2024 alone, he appeared there three times, including once after the failed assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania.

And he’s not the only president to be named “Person of the Year.”
Remember that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris also obtained this title in 2020.
Barack Obama was also the “Person of the Year” twice, in 2008 and 2012.
The list of public figures who could be nominated in 2024 was first revealed by ABC News on Monday.
Alongside Donald Trump were the names of Vice-President Kamala Harris, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, and the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Time is expected to officially make the announcement Thursday morning, December 12, on Time.com.
