In a long interview given to Magazine, published December 9Mélanie, Ludovic’s fallen suitor, made great revelations about the farmer, who has since found love in the arms of his new companion Julia. And obviously, she had a lot on her heart. If initially everything was going well between her and Ludovic, a 28-year-old winemaker from Aude, it was during a stay in Marrakech that the relationship turned sour. It was first of all the Audois who launched hostilities by declaring during the season review: “The worse things went, the less compatible we were. (…) I was not happy in this relationship and my mother was worried”. Faced with these statements, Mélanie was quick to speak out to bring more nuance to this story.

Love at first sight from the couch

If the young woman declares to TV Magazine having fallen in love at first sight even before being selected for speed dating, she admits to having almost hesitated to send her letter because of the media aspect that the show generates. Thanks to her letter, Mélanie finally won Ludovic’s heart: “There was immediate chemistry. (…) My love at first sight was confirmed from that moment and then during our ten minutes of face-to-face discussions”, she explains to TV Magazine.

Ludovic not enough

Between the first meeting and the first friction, a few weeks passed. In this same interview, Mélanie settles scores with Ludovic and points out in particular the behavior of her mother which, according to her, is to blame in their breakup in addition to other incompatibilities. “Ludovic lived with his mother and we rented a small house to have our privacy. It was at that moment that the first tensions arose, his mother had the feeling of losing her son, she was afraid that I would take him over…”, she explained.

And to talk about Ludovic and his character: “With Ludo, we also discovered our differences in character. In terms of humor, he is very first degree and I am very second degree. We didn’t have the same codes in society, he liked to be noticed while I, much less. All this has created discrepancies in our way of living, as if we did not come from the same world. Emotionally, he was a little fragile and constantly needed reassurance. He doubted a lot”. An idyll which lasted long enough to charm M6 viewers, but which ultimately did not last.
