WWE RAW Wichita, Kansas
The commentators are Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett.
– Tonight it’s WWE RAW, the red show starts with the commentators welcoming us and the champion Gunther arrives in the ring. Gunther says Finn Balor made a big mistake. Whether Balor deserved it or not, he had his attention. Finn Balor’s music starts and he arrives with Judgment Day. Balor says Gunther could have given him the title match, but Gunther preferred to toy with him and give it to someone who doesn’t deserve it like Dominik.
Balor says he is the only reason why Gunther is world champion. Gunther is right that Saturday Night’s Main Event won’t be like Survivor Series because Gunther remained champion because of him. And at Saturday Night’s Main Event Gunther will lose the title to him and he will emerge as the new champion. Gunther says Balor didn’t earn himself any match for Saturday, it was Balor’s audacity that gave him this match. But he understands that Balor is frustrated because he became the first Universal Champion eight years ago. At this point, he admired Balor and he had respect for Balor. But the respect quickly disappeared as Balor began cutting corners and associating himself with Judgment Day. Balor decided to associate with some strange guys in a clubhouse and be Damian Priest’s second-in-command.
Gunther says Balor was the best in the world 8 years ago, but that was for one night. Gunther says he is the best in the world and he will be for the rest of the days, this title proves it. There’s a reason why Balor won’t be champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event: Balor isn’t on his level and never will be on his level. Judgment Day wants to surround Gunther in the ring, but Damian Priest arrives.
Priest clotheslines Carlito and McDonagh. He pushes Dominik against the barricade. Priest pushes Balor back into the ring and kicks him. Gunther clotheslines Priest and starts beating him up. Gunther wants to Powerbomb Priest onto the commentary table, but Balor stops Gunther with a Slingblade and throws him into the steel step. Balor gives Gunther a Coup de Grace.
Judgment Day begins pummeling Priest in the ring. Balor finishes with a Coup de Grace and poses in the ring with the world title.
– Back after the break, behind the scenes, Judgment Day discusses together. Adam Pearce comes in and says it’s another Monday and more Judgment Day chaos. He spoke with Gunther and Due to recent action the Saturday Night’s Main Event match will change. It will be Gunther vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest! Balor says it will be even more satisfying when he beats both of them in the same night. Pearce says Balor can set an example of a good champion next week. Balor and McDonagh will face the War Raiders once again, but Judgment Day will be banned from ringside. Liv Morgan says everything will be fine, but she wonders if Balor has any advice for the Raquel Rodriguez match. Balor says he needs a minute to think.

It’s between him and Heyman. Jackie says Punk turned down Seth Rollins’ challenge last week, how he’s going to act. Punk says he never runs away from a fight. But he is confused about this story. He really doesn’t hate Rollins. Their story comes from afar. The 16-year-old Seth Rollins asked him for a free coaching session to become a wrestler. Now Rollins wants to be the best in the world. He remembers a time when Rollins was in the top 10 of possibly getting fired and he protected him from that. Punk says Rollins has won a lot of things, but he also won all of that before Rollins got here. Punk said he recognized the 16-year-old had a lot of potential. Rollins filled the spot well during his absence, but Rollins needs to return to the bench now that he’s back.

But his family needed him in Scotland. 2024 could have been his year, but he was ripped off again and again. At home he began to wonder if he no longer had what he needed. He watched Survivor Series and he saw CM Punk alongside Roman Reigns with Sami Zayn, Jey and Jimmy with the stupid finger in the air. This was the moment he realized he had to come back and attack Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. He can’t change the past, but he can change the present and he will change the future.

– Seth Rollins enters the ring and takes the microphone. Rollins welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins. Rollins says they have a lot to talk about tonight. We have to talk about his guy CM Punk. Rollins says that when Punk’s days as a wrestler are over, he will have a great career as a politician. CM Punk’s video was a great example of truth. Punk takes a little bit of truth and plays the victim. CM Punk has been doing this his whole life.
Rollins says we want the truth about CM Punk, he’ll give it. Yes he went to see CM Punk for coaching. CM Punk was his idol. CM Punk helped him get into WWE. He has respect for CM Punk. He and CM Punk were friends. But why does he hate CM Punk so much today? This is the part Punk didn’t mention. When CM Punk left WWE 11 years ago, he reached out to Punk because he was a friend. And what response did he get? Nothing at all. CM Punk stopped responding to him and all his other friends. Because if you didn’t quit your dream job in WWE, you were evil to CM Punk. For the next 10 years, CM Punk only wanted to break this company. Punk used every chance to do so. And CM Punk came back here because he failed everywhere, Punk burned bridges and the money was good. The crowd chants CM Punk’s name.
Rollins says he was chanting Punk’s name too. He too wanted to be like CM Punk and follow his legacy. But he realized that CM Punk was a fraud and he wanted to be better than Punk. And he did it, everything Punk did, he did it twice. And as a bonus he main evented WrestleMania. Sami Zayn’s music cuts Seth Rollins and he comes to the ring. Rollins says if Zayn is still here to defend CM Punk, they will fight again. Zayn says the two were angry last Monday. They even fought in the ring. But it was his mistake to assume that it was Rollins who attacked Jey Uso backstage. He wasn’t right and he’s sorry for that. Rollins says he’s happy to hear Sami Zayn. They have been friends for 20 years, their children play together. But he wants to know why Zayn accused him first. Zayn says Rollins was talking a different way last week. Rollins played the victim and blamed others, something Rollins never did. Rollins sounded more like Drew McIntyre. Rollins says he is not Drew McIntyre. Zayn agrees.
Zayn says this thing with CM Punk brings the worst side of Rollins. Maybe he shouldn’t have gotten involved. So he’s here to say that this CM Punk thing is definitely worse. It’s Rollins’ story and he can deal with it however he wants. Rollins says he appreciates that. Zayn asks if everything is settled between them. Rollins agrees. Rollins says he appreciates Zayn letting him have his way with Punk and meanwhile Zayn can settle his affairs with McIntyre. Rollins leaves the ring. Zayn says he will settle his affairs with McIntyre. He won’t run away like he did in the past. He’s not going to let McIntyre do it. He wants to finish this story as quickly as possible. He’s already spoken with Adam Pearce and he’s going to face Drew McIntyre on Saturday Night Main Event ! Zayn leaves on the stage, but Drew McIntyre arrives to beat him up. Officials arrive to arrest him.
