Charlotte Cardin concluded her tour 99 Nights in style, last Friday evening, at the Zénith in Paris, where 7,000 admirers saw her sing with her lover Alyocha Schneider, her friend Patrick Watson and the Belgian superstar Angèle.

In a message published on Instagram on Sunday, Charlotte Cardin admitted to having needed “48 hours to regain my senses” following this unforgettable evening.
“I didn’t think it was possible to feel so close to 7,000 people at once. And I could never have imagined such a beautiful way to end this tour which will have made me experience, for a year and a half, the greatest and intense emotions of my life.”
More French on the next album
In an interview given to the daily The ParisianCharlotte Cardin revealed that she will begin the creation of her next album after her tour. The one who now lives in Paris promises more songs in the language of Molière.
Until now, the Montrealer has mainly recorded songs in English.
“I think it (the next album) will be more French, but I’m still exploring and I don’t want to limit myself. Living in Paris changes my inspirations, obviously. I really like the rappers Laylow and Dinos, whom I invited for duets, the Portuguese artist Maro, who opens for me, Zaho from Sagazan, November Ultra. Over the last two years, I have written a lot with Patrick Watson, who is also from Montreal. And I learned a lot. I feel more solid.”
Charlotte Cardin, first revealed to The Voiceten years ago, has been on the rise since the release of his first album, Phoenixin 2021, which allowed him to win four Juno Awards the following year. Last spring, she added two more, following the success of the album 99 Nights.
She also got her hands on three Félixes at the most recent ADISQ Gala.
