“We will, like last year, be on the theme of solidarity for this Christmas 2024, by supporting several associations.” This is how Mohamed Madounaridirector of the Westfield Carré Sénart presented, in these pages, on the occasion of the openings of new stores, the activities which will be offered at the Lieusaint shopping center (Seine-et-Marne) for the holidays.
After the new Christmas decorations, installed a few weeks ago, the Carré Sénart has in fact officially launched its operations in the alleys of the center, with the presence, since the beginning of December, of several local associations such as Aebcpev, the Moissy-Cramayel firefighters and Une Patte Tendue, which offer stands of gift paper that they will animate until December 24. This initiative allows visitors to actively support these associations and their local actions while embellishing their Christmas gifts thanks to a free gift wrap service.
One of the key moments of this period will obviously be the return of Collective dressing roomcarried by the Freebie from Lieusaintfrom December 14 to 22, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., level 0 door 4. The principle remains unchanged, offering a second life to your clothes and donating the funds raised to local solidarity associations.
Support for several associations
The Westfield Carré Sénart will also join forces this year with Léa Solidarité, local association supporting women victims of violencewith a toy drive on December 7, and will offer, with the association “La Grande Récrée pour l’enfance” many gifts to the 600 children followed by Léa Solidarité.
-On December 18, Carré Sénart will also bring a little magic to the children of the Children’s House of la Fondation Cognacq-Jay in Samoreau, a reception establishment which supports children in vulnerable situations, offering them a secure, educational and caring environment. During their internally organized Christmas day, each child will receive an individual gift.
Visitors to the center will not be forgotten, with gospel songs in the central square on December 13, 18, 21 and 22, while children will be able to write their letters to Santa in the center’s daycare.
Great competition game
Finally, a major competition will add a touch of dreams, allowing participants to win prestigious gifts such as a guitar, an Agatha set, Huawei headphones, a Louis Pion watcha pair of Adidas Samba sneakers, and many other treasures straight from Santa’s sack.
Also note, two other events, carriage rides from December 7 to 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as the distribution of free treats, still from December 7 to 22 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Wednesdays , Saturdays and Sundays.
