Welcome to our live coverage of the 26th edition of the Gala Québec Cinéma, presented live starting at 8 p.m. on Noovo and Noovo.ca. Comedian Phil Roy will host the evening for the first time, taking over from Jay Du Temple.
A total of 12 Iris Awards will be presented this evening, following the 18 trophies awarded earlier this week at the 2024 Artisans Gala. With 22 nominations in total, the horror comedy Humanist vampire seeking consenting suicide is the big favorite this year, ahead of Simple like Sylvain (14 nominations).

The first feature film by Ariane Louis-Seize, which won five awards Wednesday at the Gala Artisans, is still in the running in 11 categories, including Best Film, Best Direction, Best First Film and Best Screenplay.
Remember that the Iris homage prize will be awarded to Denis Villeneuve during the evening, a reward awarded to him for his
