It’s a moment that 27 students from 5e from the Mont Roland college were waiting impatiently, and that they experienced Tuesday, December 3, at the end of the afternoon, despite palpable stage fright.
A project set up by the Frac
These students of the Chaap system (Class with flexible schedules in plastic arts) of Benoit Maitrejean, professor of plastic arts, are currently trained in mediation. They were able to take advantage, during the exhibition at the college, of all the lessons received at the school of mediators in Besançon. A project set up by the Frac (Regional Contemporary Art Fund) of Franche-Comté which, associated with the College and national education, allows the construction of an exhibition project based on its collection.
A brilliantly conducted visit
After going to the Frac in Besançon in October, it was the turn of these students to welcome their parents and families to the college’s CDI, around four works by the French artist Nathalie Talec. With a group of three students, the parents visited this exhibition where the middle school students were able to establish a dialogue with the visitors and a debate of ideas on the works. Like their comrades, Lison, Emmy and Anthony, who enjoyed this exercise, led this visit brilliantly.
Whether in front Snow Crystal a color and silent video from 1990, the painting Survival game in the cold , Snow tears, a work from 2010, in three dimensions, or Survival casefrom 2008, the future mediators were able to “engage” the public in these works, around the cold.
Satisfaction for the representatives of the Frac de Franche-Comté, Annette Grieche, mediation assistant, Estelle Régent in charge of dissemination and Hélène Laurent, director.
