The first of three concerts which close the long tour Eras of Taylor Swift is expected Friday evening in front of thousands of swifties gathered at BC Place stadium.

Admirers of the American superstar converged on downtown Vancouver in the afternoon for the 150th concert of the tour which begins at 6:45 p.m., with an opening act from singer Gracie Adams.

The show could continue late into the evening, since Taylor Swift generally offers more than three and a half hours of music during this tour, drawing from her entire discography.

By Sunday, some 160,000 people will have attended the singer’s concerts in Vancouver. However, more than 250,000 people could parade in the stadium district during this weekend, where Canucks games and a spectacle of the Cirque du Soleil.

This was announced by the Vancouver police, who deployed 700 officers to ensure security over the weekend.

Several main streets around the stadium were closed to traffic at noon and will remain closed until midnight Friday. It will be the same on Saturday and Sunday during the concerts.

According to Vancouver police, this is one of the largest cultural events the city has hosted since the Olympics. The organization Destination Vancouver estimates that the economic impact will be approximately $157 million.

Vancouver is the tour’s final stop after Toronto, where the singer performed six concerts in November.
