There will be numerous activities in support of the Telethon this weekend in Isigny-sur-Mer (). The town’s cinema will notably broadcast a film of Jean Gabin and his son will be present for a signing session. Here is the program.

  • Friday December 6. Sale of clothes by the bag at CERI (local rue de Cherbourg) from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday December 6 and Saturday December 7. Golden Fingers will sell their creations at the downtown supermarket from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday December 7. The volunteer gym will sell crepes at the weekly market from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. At 10 a.m.: 5 km walk organized by the municipality departing from the village hall (free participation). 2 p.m.: belote competition offered by the municipality in the multipurpose room (€12 per team, registration on 02 31 51 24 00). 4 p.m.: children’s boom (by NS Country) in the village hall. 5:30 p.m. at the cinema, the club screening of the film Un little something extra (minimum €4). 7 p.m.: ball in the village hall (NS country, price: €6) the opportunity to welcome the marathon runners who will make an official arrival. They will make a final relay, leaving the town of Oubeaux at 5 p.m. to pick up donations in Neuilly-la-Forêt before heading to Isigny-sur-Mer.

Exceptional screening of the film La horse

Friday December 6, 2024 at cinema the club at 9 p.m., lectures de prow offers the screening of the film The horse, French film directed by Pierre Granier-Deferre in 1969 and released in theaters in 1970 with actor Jean Gabin. Mathias Moncorgé the son of the famous figure of French cinema, will return to Isigny-sur-Mer for the occasion. He had already come in September 2023 to sign his book Jean Gabin, war is not cinema! The session will be followed by a debate and a signing session. A collection will be made for the benefit of the Telethon (free participation).
