Filming began last May, but updates have been few and far between. Among the notable moments, we note the surprising announcement of the arrival of Lady Gaga in the cast and a glimpse behind the scenes suggesting more twisted episodes. What we do know is that the series is expected to take a darker tone, while ditching the romantic storyline, a change I’m more than happy about.
When will Wednesday season 2 be available?
Netflix has not yet announced an official release date, but it is possible to speculate on the release of Wednesday season 2 based on the production and release schedule of the first season. We know that the series is now entering the post-production phase, which could make the wait even longer.
Looking back at Season 1, filming wrapped on March 30, 2022, but the series didn’t debut on Netflix until November 23, 2022. This means the post-production process took about eight months. If season 2 follows a similar schedule, we could be looking at a late July 2025 release.
