On Wednesday evening, the rue Cambon house presented in China, on the West Lake, in the stronghold of Alibaba, its collection dedicated to know-how, inspired this season by Coco Chanel’s Coromandel screens. Sophisticated embroidery, record audiences and a Phoenix concert for a 2024-2025 season at its peak.

These uninhibited customers are not new to this, they know the prices of this collection, which is even more sophisticated (and expensive) than the house’s ready-to-wear, for the good reason that, like its name, indicates, it gives pride of place to embroiderers (Lesage, Atelier Montex, etc.), pleater (Lognon), feather maker (Lemarié…), hatter (Maison Michel) and bootmaker (Massaro) from the Chanel galaxy.
