If the animated film “Bambi” by Walt Disney, released in 1942, has moved several generations of spectators, here is the film “Bambi, the story of a life in the woods”, in theaters from October 16, 2024, which promises even more emotions since we will see real animals on the screen. Directed by Michel Fessler, co-author of “March of the Penguins”, based on the novel by German author Felix Salten, the feature film is narrated by Mylène Farmer.

A symbolic experience for the 62-year-old French star who has always loved this character. “For me, Bambi is the most beautiful cartoon I have ever seen. It has all the fundamental things of life. It’s magnificent, really, and very simple too,” she said in 1988 on the show “Sacrée Soirée” on TF1. That evening, the singer, very moved, received a Bambi plush toy from the director of Disney in France.

This is not the first time that the singer of “Disenchanted” collaborates with the 7th art. After having played in the films “Giorgino” in 1994 and “Ghostland” in 2018, the red-haired icon lent her voice to Princess Selenia in the franchise “Arthur and the Invisibles” by Luc Besson, as well as for the character of Blossom in “Blue and Company”, currently in theaters.
