Noel Gallagher speaks for the first time on the return of Oasisin News
by Audrey Leclerc
Since the announcement of the return of Oasis, Noel Gallagher has been very rare in the media. In fact, we hadn’t yet heard about the group’s return. It is now done.
Since November 29, a portrait of Noel Gallagher is exposed to the National Portrait Gallery from London. For the inauguration of this exhibition, the guitarist was present in the company of his friend Johnny Marr. So journalists from The Sun approached him to talk about painting but also and above all to talk aboutOasis. In particular, they asked him if the group would behave as badly as at the time and if there would be some fights between the two brothers. What, Noel Gallagher replied: “ No, it won’t be as wild as it was back then, because we’re over 50 now, so we’re too old. We’re too old to care, so there won’t be any arguments, no fights. It’s a honor tour for the group.«
To the question, “ Are you happy to have finally made peace with your brother?« , Noel Gallagher replied “ Yes, of course.“. Surprisingly, the least enthusiastic of all seems to be Peggy Gallagher, the mother of the two brothers. Because, according to Noelwhile the whole world was enthusiastic about this meeting, the latter would have simply reacted with a “ Yes, it’s nice » before changing the subject.
